right now i am so beyond pissed off and upset!! the guy that was looking to buy our house really liked it. his wife loved my kitchen, the master bedroom was perfect for them, it met all their qualifications (3BR, 2 bath, 2 car garage). they even told us that it was one of the nicest houses they've looked at yet and has the biggest lot. matt told them we were asking $140 for it from the beginning and they still wanted to come look at it. he was ready to make a deal asap he told us. when matt spoke with him today he said $140 was too much so matt dropped it to $132. he said that was still too much. taking a low blow matt stated $130. this is a HUGE cut to us considering he bought the house for $120 with NO landscaping, no appliances, crappy counter tops and no painting done. we are leaving ALL the appliances with the house and it has solid surface counter tops that cost us $3,000. to take any less than that is a complete and total insult!!
we have searched the housing market over and anything else that has 3BR, 2 bath, 2 car attached garage and LESS than HALF AN ACRE is running for $230+ we are selling our house for well below market value. this guy thinks he's going to get a house, that is nice, in a nice neighborhood that wouldn't require hardly any work for $125. he's dreaming! it's not possible! this house is only 4 years old anything that is $125 id very old and outdated, especially the appliances, IF you're lucky enough to get a house with any in it. he just blew a great opportunity. i mean GREAT one too. some people are paying more rent a month that what we're paying for a house payment and they' only have a 2 bedroom apartment. he just needs to keep renting if he thinks he'll get anything that cheap. or he must not have been in the housing market lately that's for sure!
just when i was perfectly ok and not worrying about moving into a new house all that came tumbling down in a second! i knew not to get my hopes up, i tried so hard not to. but knowing now that the house we absolutely love more than anything could be gone tomorrow. i'm so stressed out i can't sleep. i can't eat and can't concentrate on anything but that house! thanks for killing my dream of the perfect house.
