our Christmas baskets

i am so super excited! i have found the one recipe i was looking for to complete our Christmas baskets for friends & family. instead of giving presents and actually going to the store, fighting the crowds and just simply buying something that really we didn't put much thought into we're making baskets and filling them with all kinds of goodies. i can't wait. i used to recieve things like that from the elders of a church i used to attend and i always looked forward to each holiday knowing we were going to get a basket filled :) i'd much rather have homemade gifts like those than store bought items. so i know all of our friends will enjoy these just as much. i'm filling them with hot coco mix, snickerdoodles, cookie bark, peanut brittle, holly cookies and apple cinnamon ornaments. i just can't wait to start making them :)
