so i think this was probably my most baffling pageant yet. before they all just kept saying she was too little, fine whatever. the pageant world doesn't like tiny babies. today i know she was sleepy and not her normal happy self (thank you to her brothers for that one! waking up at 6am and not letting her sleep on the ride either) but even some of the girls that won mini supreme last pageant didn't get but 2nd runner up, if that this time. so i have NO clue what these judges wanted and from the looks and sounds of it there weren't too many that were happy with their scores either.
we used this picture, a professional picture, printed by a professional lab but here's what one judge scored her...
on a scale of 1-10 (10 being perfect)
personality/ projection 7
appearance (grooming, pose, etc) 5.... A FREAKING 5!!!!!! what is wrong with her appearance???
clarity/ quality (scale 1-5) a FREAKING 3!!!!!!

WHAT?!!!!!! idk what else you could want from that picture on clarity and color. jeezus i'd hate to have seen what she would have said had i used the walgreens print!!

so if her scores were like that and she got nothing i can't imagine what the 2nd runner up was because she won mini supreme at the last pageant. and omg i don't know what the heck it's going to take me doing to get her to win a freaking side award!!!! JEEZUS!!!!!! she never ever EVER wins those!!!! they're prettiest eyes, hair, smile, most beautiful, photogenic and best theme wear. well i know she's not going to win best hair bc she still doesn't have any but umm hello eyes?!!! at least!?! and freakingA photogenic... i have one of the most awesomest photographers with an awesome lab and we still can't get that one either!! i'd just like to know what it's going to take me to win 1 dang side award. and yeah i know there's going to be that one someone that's going to say "well if you're that upset about it why are you doing it" for the same reason you put your kids in any activities, you or they enjoy it and it gives you time together. am i upset? yeah maybe a little bc those scores just make no sense to me. idk what they wanted today. after winning division queen at the last pageant then getting absolutely nothing this time. how does that happen? does this discourage me from wanting to do them anymore? no it might just be a little while again and not bc she lost but bc there's another baby coming and that's going to take up a lot of my time. kinda be hard to do pageants with a newborn too. but just wanted to share.
