it's starting =/

well what an adventure today was... 25 weeks 1 day and at 6:25am my contractions started up again bc i had them last monday & wednesday as well. but this time they were very consistent and close together. they were actually pretty. so matt called the OB and heard dr hall in the background saying "get her here now!!" when we got there it took forever, almost 15 minutes before the receptionist even freaking looked to see us sitting out there. matt was starting to get pissed at this point! so after i finally get back they tested my urine and i had a bladder infection, they could see that right then. so it's odd how i was in there monday and they tested my urine and there was nothing there then so that just goes to show how fast things start to happen with me. after the FFN (fetal fibronectin) was done he checked me and i'm still closed which is good and told me to go to L&D for a few hours for fluids and to be monitored. if the FFN would come back positive i would be staying over night and getting steriods or if the contractions didn't stop with fluids. once i got into L&D they hooked me up and i was still just contracting away. as usual i'm a hard stick so she had to stick twice mainly bc the first needle was too big to float into my vein. she gave me a shot of terb. it wasn't as bad as the last times i had it but still bad enough.  i had a huge bag of fluids running in fast plus a bag of antibiotics. the contractions started spacing out far enough with all of that combo that after about 3 hours the nurse came in and said the FFN was negative. shew! huge relief!! so we got to go home. for those that don't know what an FFN is, it's a test they do to see if you will go into labor within a 2 week span. i had them with both boys and they were all positive. so if i get a negative it's a true negative. so no baby in the next 2 weeks. i'm so ready and excited for her to be here but i can seriously wait more than 2 weeks!! 9-10 would be better, certainly not at 25 though!!

so for now it's rest, water, fluids and if they start back of course i go back in and then they will probably start with the steroids. i still have an appointment with him in 2 weeks unless something else happens and then we may start steroids anyway at my next appointment. glad it was only an infection and not full blown labor yet. it's too early to try and go 9-10 more weeks, drugs, hospital stays and all that mess again. i couldn't last that long this time and wouldn't want to put me, her, matt & the boys through all of that. thanks for all the prayers, messages and everybody checking on me. it means a lot :)
