so my new blog layout is just so cute i constantly come to it for a "perk me up" :) i'm so ready for spring!! but here's a few more pictures... this is MY birthday cake. yes i made my own, i always have. mawmaw baked them then i would come and decorate it how i wanted. she's no longer able to bake them anymore so i did it all. i'm so happy with how it turned out although i'd still wished i could have made it entirely out of fondant but my family HATES fondant and wouldn't eat it if it were. so i either make MY cake how i want it and be the only one to eat it or make MY cake how they like so they'll eat it. (which i think is crap because it's MY cake!! but whatever) it's got all of my favorite elements in it. pink & green, it's a purse and giraffe. i love it! this cake will also NEVER be made again!!! it is a one of a kind, one time only cake. and because i'm the baker/ designer i can do that ;)
