jaxon had his 15 mth check up last week. he STILL hasn't broke 20 lbs yet!! he was 19.3 lbs. at his 1 yr he was 18.2 lbs and at 9 mths he was 17.4. he's in the one percentile. one... it even sounds funny to say aloud. at least it's better than the last check up, he was 0. not even on the charts. but the doctor said he was very pleased with his progress and he's not the least bit worried about him. he's always been small so it doesn't surprise him that he's still small. but with all he eats i don't know how in the world the child isn't 100 lbs already!! he seriously eats man sized portions. it's crazy. he's also met all of the goals the therapists have made for him and is doing so good.
branson had his 4 year check up and boy did we both get a surprise!! he got 5 shots. i had no clue that they got shots at their 4 yr check!! i thought they got them for school. oh it was horrible. i never cry at any medical procedures but i did that day. he got 1 in one leg, 2 in the other and one in each arm. after the first shot he started screaming "mommy mommy" omg it crushed me!!! he cried for a long time after, jaxon was even crying. he couldn't even put his arms down and the next morning he cried all day of his leg hurting. i felt so horrible!! dr lawrence said he was incredibly smart and sooooo well behaved and listened great for a 4 year old. that makes me extremely happy!! she still said he is her prized preemie and she couldn't be happier with him. he's also eligible to start pre K next fall.
